Ecosystem Framework

An ecosystem consists of interdependent components that together aid in the achievement of sustainable results at optimum levels. All living organisms (plants, animals, microorganisms…) live and thrive in their own ecosystems (soil, water, mineral, air, weather, atmosphere…), while being inevitably interdependent for their survival and growth. Similarly, the human created social, economic and political arrangements can also survive, grow and produce their optimal results in sustainable manners, only when the required ecosystem components (human capabilities, systems and processes, technology, governance (stakeholder involvement, strategy, plan, implementation, oversight, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, ongoing corrective, preventive and improvement actions…) are identified developed and nurtured.

The interconnected world provides interconnected opportunities by continually evolving newer and better value adding technologies, processes, products, systems, industries, governance frameworks, and similar elements. No entity is any longer an independent strategic actor. Learning from the experiences and optimising from the outputs and advantages of related entities in the ecosystem enable the actor entity to concentrate on the core competencies leading to results faster and sustainably.
